This is cardamom. Much more to come. It seemed to always grow at the base of bamboo plants, but regardless, it was always hugging the ground. I liked the cute little flower in the second photo. When you squeezed the pod of cardamom, pepper and (to a lesser extent coffee), if you tasted the juice on your fingers it really tasted exactly like the spice. Also if you rubbed the leaves, your fingers would smell like the spice.
