Kerala Landscapes

 On the road toward Munnar and the land of the tea plants.  This is significantly higher than Cochin, which is virtually sea level and is mostly palm trees and banana plants.  As you get higher the palm trees become fewer.  The tea plantations themselves, though only maybe 100-125 km from the coast, are 6000 feet elevation and higher - basically, the same altitude as Kabul and its surrounding (lower) mountains.
