Munnar is a small town at the center of southern India's tea-growing region, up in the hills that rise 6,000-9,000 feet from coastal Kerala. The hill slopes are covered tightly with tea plants interspersed with massive black boulders. I will post more photos of the tea fields from our evening walks on the plantations; here are two shots on the road.
