If you've seen the previous posts, you've seen that there is not a wealth of natural vegetation here. At the PRTs, lots of times they will have a sad little rectangular plot of grass, watered religiously every day to keep it alive, lost amid the vastness of the dust and sand. In Paktika, there is green. Now, I'm pretty sure these flowers next to the PRT are watered as well, but it is probably the healthiest growth of greenery I've seen outside of Panjshir. I am told the flowers climbing up the wall are morning glory. I defer to the views of those more knowledgeable.
