Details from Cochin

The first is one of the most common cars in India, apart from the ubiquitous "Tatas."  It's called the Ambassador.  It's at least twice as big as most cars.  The second is from a cooking school / home stay place in Fort Cochin where we will probably send our daughter for a surprise cooking class present.  Yes, it's important that she learn to make "homely" food.  We saw "homely" advertised quite a bit.  It's a good thing there, which makes me feel not so bad that people always call me "homely," at least when they're being polite.
