There was another thunderstorm this afternoon that forced us to take refuge in a Spanish tapas restaurant for close to three hours. We finally caught a bus back to the hotel, but even now the thunder is still rolling by, though the rain is much lighter now. Anyway, we passed this enormous carousel. It's closed, either for the rain or the day of the week or the time of the day, but it has very cool mermaids adorning the second level. On the lower level - photos to come if they turn out, since there were drops of water falling from the trees that disrupted the camera - are elephants, donkeys, lions, camels, dolphins, and many more, besides the horses.
