Easy French Reading Lessons
Don't be intimidated by anything you've heard about French being difficult. It's surprisingly easy. First, the French people are generally quite tolerant of any grammatical or pronunciation miscues you may make, and they are appreciative of your efforts to order food in French. And I suppose that what I said may have sounded a bit more like "some sort of unidentifiable ocean bottom-dwelling sea monster" instead of "another bottle of wine." But aside from the occasional speaking misfire, there are no problems with the language. Reading it couldn't possibly be easier. The "liberte - egalite - fraternite" caption, for example, clearly indicates that we have stumbled upon a fraternity, which also explains the presence of the policeman at the doorway.
