Chapter 73, in which we Dispute the Meaning of French Phrases

Jody insists that the sign in question reads, "Here, we reprimand you for your French."  I was convinced it just means they take back old francs, at a decent exchange rate for them, I'm guessing.  Given that we had no francs to exchange, and thus no reason to speak French badly with them, now we'll never know.

We had the most outstanding lunch.  Jody had stuffed grilled vegetables; I had the grilled dorado.  Both were Nicoise style.  We also had an olive paste with bread and creme brulee - in France, it is obligatory to eat creme brulee at every meal.
