Flora in Greece

We believe, based not on something esoteric like knowledge or learning or detailed analysis but rather on a cursory glance at the signs in the ground, that the first photo is of laurel, the second of olive.  I have other photos where the olive tree actually has olives on it, so that's pretty much a giveaway.  But here they both just have flowering buds.  I think the laurel leaf is slightly wider and more rounded at the end, whereas the olive leaf is a bit duller green, is thinner and comes to a sharper point.  Or vice versa; what do you care, unless you're studying for a botany test or something. I believe that anything I write on this blog, like all information to be found on the internet, is accurate.
